The IP Forward >> IP Masterclass for Professional Teachers is designed to provide educators with practical knowledge on the fundamentals of IP, its application in the education sector, and contemporary issues such as copyright, plagiarism, and digital content. The program highlights the role of schools as hubs for innovation and development, thereby supporting teachers in promoting creativity and innovation among students.
This specialized edition of the IP Forward program is designed to provide participants (e.g. IP rightsholder, MSMEs, early career legal practitioners, general public) with a comprehensive understanding of intellectual property (IP) enforcement in the Philippines. It brings together experts from IPOPHL, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), and the Department of Justice (DOJ) to deliver practical and legal insights on protecting IP rights.
The program begins with an overview of the Philippine IP system and the role of IPOPHL in safeguarding creativity and innovation.
